Managing Your Subscriptions
Fluger subscriptions control which features and limits are available on your account. This article explains how to purchase, view, cancel, and upgrade subscriptions — and what your responsibilities are as a user.
Purchasing a Subscription
All subscriptions are purchased from the /pricing page.
From there, you can:
-
Review available plans
-
Select the plan that fits your needs
-
Complete checkout
Once payment is successful, the subscription becomes active immediately.
Viewing Your Active Subscriptions
All purchased subscriptions are listed on your User Profile page.
On this page, you can:
-
See all active subscriptions
-
View plan names and statuses
-
Manage or cancel subscriptions
Fluger does not hide subscriptions — if it exists, it will be shown here.
Canceling a Subscription
Subscriptions can be canceled directly from the User Profile page.
When you cancel:
-
The subscription remains active until the end of the billing period
-
No further charges are made
-
Features are adjusted after the subscription expires
Cancellation does not delete your content automatically, but access to features may be limited once the plan ends.
Multiple Subscriptions: How Features Are Applied
Fluger allows multiple subscriptions to exist on the same account.
If you have more than one active plan:
-
Only the highest-level plan features are applied
-
Lower-tier plans do not stack or add extra limits
-
You are not refunded automatically for overlapping plans
This is intentional behavior.
Upgrading to a Higher Plan (Important)
Fluger does not automatically upgrade or replace plans.
If you want to move to a more advanced subscription:
-
You must cancel your current lower-tier subscription first
-
Then purchase the higher-tier plan from the /pricing page
If you skip step 1:
-
Both subscriptions may remain active
-
You will be charged for both
-
Only the higher plan features will be used
Managing this is your responsibility.
Subscription Update Failure and Grace Period
If a subscription fails to renew (for example, due to a payment issue), the subscription is automatically canceled and a 7-day grace period begins.
During the grace period:
-
Your existing features remain temporarily available
-
You can update your payment method and renew the subscription without data loss
If the subscription is not renewed within 7 days, your account is downgraded to the Free plan, and the following actions occur automatically:
-
If you have more channels than the Free plan allows, only the allowed number remains active
-
Any additional channels (for example, 17 out of 20) are randomly disabled
-
Disabled channels cannot be re-enabled until a paid subscription is restored
Storage Impact (Critical)
Because the Free plan does not include custom video storage:
-
All custom uploaded videos are permanently deleted
-
This deletion is irreversible
-
Videos are removed from:
-
My Library
-
All channels
-
All schedules
-
Fluger does not keep backups of deleted videos after the grace period ends.
User Responsibility
Fluger does not:
-
Auto-cancel old plans
-
Auto-upgrade subscriptions
-
Merge or prorate plans
You are responsible for:
-
Canceling plans you no longer want
-
Avoiding overlapping subscriptions
-
Choosing the correct plan before purchase
This keeps billing predictable and transparent — but it requires attention.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
-
Buying a higher plan without canceling the lower one
-
Assuming plans automatically upgrade
-
Expecting features to stack
-
Forgetting to cancel unused subscriptions
These are not system bugs — they are user actions.
Summary
-
Subscriptions are purchased on the /pricing page
-
All subscriptions appear on the User Profile page
-
Subscriptions can be canceled from the profile
-
If multiple plans exist, only the highest plan applies
-
Upgrades require manual cancellation of lower plans
-
Subscription management is the user’s responsibility
