Navigation widget
The Navigation widget renders a menu of links built from your published pages. It supports horizontal or vertical layout and different scopes for which pages appear.
When to use it
- Header or sidebar menus.
- Footer sitemaps (depending on template).
Add a Navigation widget
- Edit page content or Layouts.
- Drag Navigation into a region.
- Click Edit.
Settings
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pages | All pages — every published page that is allowed in nav. Under current page — descendants in the hierarchy. Selected pages — you pick exactly which pages. |
| Pages to include | When Selected is chosen, tick the pages to show (tree or list). |
| Orientation | Horizontal (typical header) or Vertical (sidebar). |
Only published pages configured to show in navigation appear (depending on product rules).
Tips
- Structure matters: use parent pages in Pages → properties to build dropdowns or nested menus if your template supports it.
- You can place navigation in Layouts so every page gets the same menu without copying the widget.
