Create a website on the Fluger dashboard
Your branded website lives on Fluger’s infrastructure. You create it from your main Fluger account (the dashboard), then customize it through the site’s own admin area.
Before you start
- You need a Fluger user account with access to Websites (often under your profile menu as My websites).
- Decide a title (display name) and a subdomain (the part before
.fluger.tv).
Steps
- Sign in to fluger.tv (or your Fluger host) and open My websites (or Websites).
- Click Create (or the + control) to open the create-website dialog.
- Enter a title for the site (visitors may see this in browser UI or metadata depending on your template).
- Enter a subdomain (slug): lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. This becomes
https://yourslug.fluger.tv. - (Optional) Custom domain: enter only the hostname, e.g.
example.com— nothttps://. Your DNS must use a CNAME to the target your provider documents (e.g.wl.fluger.tv). Save when ready. - Submit the form. The new site appears in your website list.
After creation
- Open the live site at
https://yourslug.fluger.tv. - Open the website backend at
https://yourslug.fluger.tv/admin(or from the gear menu on the website card: Website backend). - You still need at least one website user with a password to sign in to
/admin— see Create first user for website backend.
Tips
- You can take the site offline from the dashboard gear menu while you work; visitors then see a maintenance-style page instead of your content.
- Edit in the gear menu changes title, slug, and custom domain — not page content (that is done in the site backend).
