Create the first user to log in to your website backend
The website backend (/admin) is separate from your main Fluger login. People who manage pages, branding, and widgets need a website user account created for that specific site.
Who creates users?
- The owner (Fluger account that owns the website) can manage website users from the Fluger dashboard → Websites → gear menu → Users.
- After the first users exist, an Administrator role in the site backend can also manage users and roles, if your setup allows it.
Add your first backend user (from Fluger dashboard)
- Go to My websites and find your site.
- Open the gear (⋮) menu on the card → Users.
- Choose Add user (or equivalent).
- Enter email and a temporary password (or use the flow your host provides).
- Assign a role:
- Administrator — full access to all backend modules (typical for the site owner).
- Editor — often can edit pages, branding, images, layouts, etc., depending on how permissions are configured.
- Viewer — usually read-only access to the Pages list.
- Save. Share the login URL:
https://yoursite.fluger.tv/admin(or your custom domain +/admin).
First login
- Open
https://yourslug.fluger.tv/admin(orhttps://yourdomain.com/admin). - Sign in with the website user email and password — not your main Fluger password unless they are the same by coincidence.
- Change password if prompted or via profile/settings if available.
If login fails
- Confirm the URL includes
/adminand uses HTTPS. - Confirm the user was created on this website (not another slug).
- Ask the site owner to verify the account is active and the role includes Backend access.
