HTML content block widget
The HTML content block widget (sometimes labeled HTML Content Block) lets you add rich text and HTML in one region — headings, lists, links, embedded media (where allowed), and styled paragraphs.
When to use it
- Articles, about text, FAQs, legal notices.
- Any content that does not need a specialized widget.
Add the widget
- Edit page content or Layouts.
- Drag HTML Content Block from Content.
- Click Edit.
Configure
- HTML content — use the built-in editor (often a WYSIWYG or code-capable HTML editor).
- You may be able to insert images from the Images library via a picker in the toolbar.
Tips
- Paste from Word carefully; extra markup can affect styling. Use “clear formatting” if available.
- Avoid pasting script tags or untrusted embed codes unless your role and security policy allow it.
- For repeated chrome (navigation, heroes), prefer Navigation or Hero widgets instead of duplicating raw HTML.
